Camp Juliena, How You Can Make The Difference – Part 2
Now in existence for over 25 years, GACHI Serving the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Communities strives to expand its programs and offerings to the community. We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our cause.
It is our mission to serve individuals who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, Late-deafened, people with Hearing Loss, and others with respect to all communication modes; by providing support services, advocacy, and education, which foster self-determination, empowerment, and independence. In order to meet our mission and provide services in our community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we would not be able to serve those in our community each year.
GACHI is hosting a fundraising effort this month. Your donations will support two programs our programs this year, Camp Juliena and the Advocacy Program. Camp Juliena which is going into their 23rd annual, offers a week long summer camp for youth and teens who are deaf or hard of hearing (youth at Camp Viola and teen at Camp Lookout). The Advocacy Program, GACHI’s recognizes the importance to offer this for our community and strive to provide these services.
GACHI’s goal is to raise $5000 for our Camp Juliena and Advocacy Program. Please help us to reach the goal by donating $25, $50, $75, $100 or more. You can mail your check to GACHI or pay through our PayPal at http://www.gachi.org/vlog/. You can also stop by and we will be delighted to meet you. We hope you will be able to make a contribution.
Simply put, if it was not for faithful supporters like you, GACHI would not exist. So thank you for making sure that we continue to make a difference in the lives of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals in the state of Georgia.
