Getting Ready for Opportunities in Work 

June 23 - 28, 2024 

Georgia School for the Deaf

High school students will spend a week preparing for post-high school employment by learning soft skills, teamwork, and communication tactics as well as going on group field trips to different locations to learn from working professionals. 

Topics that will be discussed include Self-Advocacy, Work Readiness Training, Job Exploration, and Work Based Learning. 

 

This program is sponsored by the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency and has no fee for students to attend.

If your child is approved by GVRA counselor and  GCDHH, the information packet will be sent to the camper's address around June 5th.
