
DEAFestival is coming to Georgia:
April 1, 2023
April is National Deaf History Month, and to celebrate we are announcing the first biannual DEAFestival in Georgia. DEAFestival will be an event that will celebrate, promote & preserve Deaf History Month through art, culture, and history.
There will be vendors, artists, and entertainment provided for all participants to enjoy, learn, and make connections. DEAFestival 2023 will be at the Atlanta Area School for the Deaf (AASD) on April 1st.

DEAFestival is in need of:
Exhibitors
Do you own a small business? Are you a part of an organization that serves the Deaf community? Do you want to make a tax-deductible donation to DEAFestival? Apply to be an Exhibitor. Connect with the community and get the word out about your organization or business. Download the application and email it to info@gcdhh.org. Once you have filled out the application please click on the 'Pay Fees' button below to reserve your spot at DEAFestival.
The Future of DEAFestival

We strive to support the Deaf community in the entire state of Georgia. Therefore, we will be changing the location of DEAFestival every 2 years in order to reach people outside of the Atlanta Area.
The tentative schedule for future DEAFestivals is as follows:
2023: Atlanta
2025: Savannah
2027: Rome
2029: Macon
2031: Augusta
2033: Valdosta
