STEM HANDS

June 9 - 14, 2024

Georgia State University, Downtown Campus

STEM HANDS is an annual summer camp for Deaf and Hard of Hearing high school students interested in careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). This camp is a collaborative effort between the Georgia Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, and the Georgia State University College of Education & Human Development.

During the week-long residential camp, high school students across the state take part in hands-on activities, demonstrations, and learning opportunities throughout the city of Atlanta. Previous activities have been collaborations with the Delta Flight Museum, Georgia Aquarium, and Centers for Disease Control, as well as hands-on activities including 3D design and printing hosted by Georgia State University.

Because STEM HANDS is funded through the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency, there is no fee to attend.

Registration Deadline: May 3, 2024
